A healthy Easter treat
1.5 cups nut mylk of your choice.
1/3 cup walnuts
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1.5 tablespoons raw cacao (substitute cocoa if you don't have cacao - just add less)
1 tablespoon maple syrup, or sweetener of choice (remember there are dates in some varieties of nut mylks (including p+N ones), so don't go overboard!)
1 heaped teaspoon maca or mesquite powder (optional)
1 heaped teaspoon raw cacao nibs
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon natural vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Put half the walnuts and cacao nibs aside and place the rest of the ingredients into a high powered blender and blend until super smooth. And that's it!! Pour into the serving glass and garnish with the cacao nibs and remaining walnuts (or for a more indulgent treat - shavings of your chocolate Easter treats)
Pop this in the fridge for at least an hour to allow the chia seeds to do their thing. Best made the night before for an amazing Chocolate Easter breakfast!
